Development of customized goals, targets and indicators on education SDGs

At this stage, on the basis of a national long-term strategy of development of the country, it is important to define the main targets and indicators upon which Uzbekistan will report on the implementation of the agenda of the SDG in the field of education. The main challenge for Uzbekistan in the formation of national benchmarks for the SDG in the field of education is to formulate the purpose and objectives in such a way that on the one hand, they were fully in line with global benchmarks and targets, and on the other - were aimed at achieving national development goals in the medium and long term .

Thus, the Global Objective 4 has been defined as "Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting learning opportunities throughout life for all". Realization of this goal will ensure that all children receive free primary and secondary education in 2030. The SDG #4 also seeks to ensure equal access to vocational training, eliminating problems such as gender and social inequalities with a view to reaching a common access to quality higher education. Objective 4.1. is defined as "to ensure that all boys and girls completed free, equitable and high-quality primary and secondary education by 2030".
