Pressing questions on further development of approaches for entrepreneurial rights protection.
Today, on December 9th, 2016 at Radisson Tashkent BLU was held a round table on “Pressing issues on further development of approaches for entrepreneurial rights protection”. Following delivered reports, participants discussed issues of the partial implementation of the system for reviewing legislation and further improvement of the legislative process in support of entrepreneurs. The participants, considered implementation of projects for the establishment of the Ombudsperson Institution for protection of entrepreneurs' rights, based on international practices, and introduction of the concept of public examination of normative legal acts.
Much has been said about the improvement and integration of the public assessment concept and the role of society in the process of review and improvement of legal systems. Each report emphasized the key role of entrepreneurs in drafting of laws that affect the corporate sector. The mass media representatives focused on establishment of closer communication between members of the discussion and media, to effectively information exchange with entrepreneurs and to increase awareness of private sector.
The event was jointly organized by joint efforts of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, the OSCE, the "Democracy, human rights" institute and the Judicial Training Center. The discussions was attended by representatives of state bodies, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, representatives of our Centre, IFC, UNDP, Chamber of Commerce and many others.
